Hearing aids are a suitable option for most levels of hearing loss. There are different hearing aids available for different hearing losses. At Zail Hearing Care we offer the greatest range of hearing aids to best suit your situation. Our team of Audiologists will assess your hearing levels and find the most appropriate hearing aid for you.

At Zail Hearing Care we give a 60 day trial period on all hearing aids sold.

All hearing aids are GST free and you may be eligible for a tax rebate. If you receive a pension you are also entitled to free hearing tests and, where appropriate, subsidised hearing aids through the Office of Hearing Services (OHS) program.


What Hearing Aids Will Do For You

  • Allow you to hear sounds that you are currently not able to, eg soft speech, children’s voices, other quiet sounds.
  • Selectively amplify speech more than background noise, thus allowing you to concentrate more easily on your conversation.
  • Prevent normally loud sounds from becoming uncomfortably loud.

What Hearing Aids Will Not Do For You

  • Make your hearing perfect.
  • Completely filter out background noise or lower the true volume.
  • Sound perfect the first time you use them. Hearing aids take time to become accustomed to, but with practice, you will gradually hear better as your brain adjusts.
